La Flama Flamenco, a new Flamenco Art Cycle at Ateneo Mercantil Theater
Roots and the Avant-Garde. One and the Same Flame. La Flama Flamenco is reignited in the heart of Valencia with a second edition that places flamenco at the center of contemporary artistic discourse. A look at the legacy of generations of women and men who have sustained and reinvented this art form from the tablao, the workshop, and the stage. From its great pioneers to new artistic sensibilities, La Flama Flamenco champions a living art form, capable of preserving its roots while exploring new forms of expression. Two performances and two ways to experience flamenco: the contemporary dance of Otra Piel and the tradition and celebration of La Zambomba Flamenca Valenciana.

Christmas arrives to the beat of the rhythm in a show that recreates the essence of an Andalusian courtyard, where more than ten artists combine song, dance, and music in a celebration full of tradition and joy. Guitars, zambombas, clapping, and rhythm invite the audience to be part of this flamenco fiesta alongside renowned artists and guests from Jerez and Seville.

An intimate, honest, and contemporary production where dance, music, and spoken word come together as a single emotional narrative.
Otra Piel takes the audience on a journey through identity, tradition, and transformation, drawing from flamenco to encounter other musical languages—such as jazz—which are understood as spaces for freedom, listening, and exploration.
On stage, dance and guitar come together with piano, vocals, percussion, and double bass. Various musical and dance pieces intertwine with first-person narratives that reflect on where we come from and the need to experience other forms.

LA ZAMBOMBA FLAMENCA VALENCIANA
Christmas Comes to Life to the Beat. More than ten artists gather on stage to recreate the essence of an authentic Andalusian courtyard at Christmas, where singing, dancing, and rhythm turn the show into a shared celebration. Guitars, tambourines, bells, a bottle of anise liqueur, a cajón, a clay jar, a zambomba, and handclaps set the tone for an evening in which the audience also becomes part of the party, singing along, clapping their hands, and letting themselves be swept up in the atmosphere. Under the musical direction of flamenco singer Adrián Benítez, the show will feature artists such as guitarist Juan de Pilar and flamenco flutist Óscar de Manuel, as well as guests from Jerez and Seville. A celebration of our roots and of that flamenco tradition that brings us together again every December. LET CHRISTMAS BEGIN.

Bambalinas Flamencas after-show: a unique flamenco experience at Salón Stolz
INTIMATE AFTERSHOW WHERE GASTRONOMY AND MUSIC FUSE OVERLOOKING THE TOWN HALL SQUARE.
Guests will have the opportunity to extend the experience with the Bambalinas Flamencas in the Stolz Room, the most exclusive part of Ateneo Mercantil. This historic space, with its unique paintings and privileged views of the Town Hall Square, will transform into an intimate after-show where gastronomy and music fuse, offering the opportunity to taste an exquisite ham, savor a cocktail and share close moments with the artists.

Este espacio histórico, con sus pinturas únicas y vistas privilegiadas a la Plaza del Ayuntamiento, se transforma en un after-show íntimo donde gastronomía y música se funden, ofreciendo la ocasión de degustar un exquisito jamón, saborear un cóctel y compartir momentos cercanos con los artistas.
